The Albert Lea boys’ basketball team took down Mankato West Tuesday in Big 9 action. Leading at halftime by a score of 50-42, the Tigers continued to shine on offense. They went on to defeat the Scarlets 96-80.
The Tigers had nine players in the scoring column, with fou players in double figures. Pacing the Tigers in scoring were Carter Conn (26 pts), Easton Schewe (23 pts), Noah Teeter (16 pts) and Desmond Smith (12 pts).
Tigers improve to 3-11 on the season and 2-7 in Big 9 play.
They return to action at home on Thursday against Red Wing.
